I am a
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Addenbrooke’s
Hospital, Cambridge.
I specialise in Spinal Surgery and
I also manage general orthopaedic trauma.
My current elective practice is
wholly that of spinal surgery and I also manage general
orthopaedic trauma.
My undergraduate training was at The
Royal London Hospital and my general orthopaedic
training was in London and Cambridge.
Prior to taking up
my appointment as a Consultant, I spent a Spinal
Fellowship year at the Spinal Unit in Brisbane,
Australia training in both paediatric spinal surgery
(scoliosis) and adult spinal surgery.
I am interested in all aspects of
spinal surgery including back pain, neck pain, scoliosis
and spinal deformity in children and adults,
degenerative disease of the lumbar spine and cervical
spine, and spinal trauma.
Personal profile
I am
married with three children (all boys) and live in
Cambridge.
I enjoy many sports and in particular rugby
and skiing.
I also enjoy spending time with my family
and holidays in Cornwall.
